This review seems like a part 2 of my previous review so make sure you go read my March review to familiarise yourself with what’s been going on in my life right recently:

Developing a sweet tooth

Design-wise, I’ve had an enjoyable month in Figma. I finally had the opportunity to let my creative juices flow because I recently joined the Sugar Code team as Head of Design.

Sugar Code is an EdTech start-up committed to reducing barriers of entry into the tech industry. We do this via providing access to courses, tech equipment, and mentoring — making learning accessible for all. We run hackathons for tech newbies to refine their skills in a comfortable environment to gain valuable feedback and win prizes.

As Head of Design, I am responsible for providing the creative vision for the whole organisation. The website, content, and branding look are all up to me. I love helping people, so it was a no-was asked to join the team. It’s a place for young people, made by young people.

While the website is getting designed and built here’s a sneak peek of the design so far:

We might give away an iPad soon, who knows 👀

I put job applications on the back burner this month. You don’t realise it until you are in the position but job searching takes it out of you so it’s essential to take breaks now and again.

Now for the main course of this review. If you read last month's review, you would know how disappointed I was with my travelling experience. So I flew out. To Milan. Here’s how it was…

Hands down, the best holiday I’ve had so far. Milan is 10/10. But, I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy!

Glad to have had the opportunity to see this place in real life. Worth the trip!
Tracking macros was a myth but enjoyment >
Addicted to gelato and tagliatelle 🍦
A beautiful place called Varenna 🌤
Releasing an album and this going to be the cover

As you can, Milan is an incredible place. Message me for the itinerary if you plan on going 👍🏾

Overall, April was an enjoyable month for me. Full of all the things I love to do; design and travel. Now I’ve been on holiday, I feel like I need to go each month. Hopefully, I will be back on a plane around June time to keep me satisfied until Jamaica in October. Heavily in need of a beach.

Besides Doctor Strange 2, May is looking like a slow one but still happy to be here and on this journey regardless. Wishing you all enjoyment and happiness 🤞🏾
